Regional Distribution Manager Jobs in Kansas

5-7 years of experience with 3 years of distribution / manufacturing management experience, food industry experience preferred.

A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience.

Sound working knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Knowledge of DOT, Federal and State regulations a plus.

Engage directly with store operations team to lead communication and change management efforts

Manage the onsite 7-Eleven team (consisting of 2 managers and 2 analysts)

Working knowledge of Manhattan WMS (or other comparable systems)

Direct experience leading a large foot print distribution center

Experience with food distribution and food safety

Experience influencing and collaborating with 3PL partners

3+ years demonstrated management/leadership and team building experience

Effective management skills, with ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to work independently without direct supervision

You report to the Director of SML North America and are a member of the SMLNA Regional DC Management Team.

Develop a strong team and collaborative culture through regular communication ensuring daily team meetings, weekly management meetings, monthly town halls, etc.

Engage in on-going performance management and career development dialogue with local team.

The RDC Manager is the owner of the overall performance for safety, quality, cost, delivery, etc for the site.
