Reading Interventionist Jobs in Texas

Fulfill all documentation requirements including the use of data collection of strategies and goals, completion of session notes during the session

Work with families and supervisor to establish an environment supportive of treatment and education across all settings of care

You have experience working with children, preferably children with autism.

You are skilled at using software and systems including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.

You preferably have knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.

Attend Cortica's orientation and complete Cortica's Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) training

Professional written and oral communication skills;

Uses and applies appropriate conflict resolution skills with students;

Performs other job duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university;

Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality regarding

Students, staff, parents, and school matters.

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications

Coursework and Competency Check to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

Maintains and submits accurate and up-to-date management records of all students’ progress.

Knowledge of federal and state guidelines and District policies and procedures regarding education and students.

ESL, Special Education, and/or specialization in literacy/reading certification preferred.

Attends professional development to enhance knowledge of literacy content.

Advises and observes struggling readers at teachers request; offers independent and classroom student teaching with decodable texts.

Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.

Experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Accurately conveying report information to referring providers.

Preforming outreach to referring providers for non-critical results, communicating final impressions, direct follow-up questions to the appropriate resource.

Preforming initial outreach to referring providers for critical results, transfer calls to radiologists, schedule conference calls if needed.

Assisting radiologists in all aspects needed to enhance productive workflow.

Proficiently utilizing various computer systems.
