Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Business, Communications, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent

Experience leading technical and non-technical initiatives; previous experience coordinating workstreams in multi-team projects, ideally using an onsite / offshore model

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Statistics or related management field preferred. Degree may be substituted for equivalent work experience.

5+ years’ experience medical billing

Compile and prepare various status reports for management to analyze trends and make recommendations

Coordinate the Revenue Cycle Management team to address any deficiencies in staff performance uncovered by internal audits

5+ years of experience managing internal RCM teams and RCM vendors

ICD-10 medical coding certification is preferred

3+ years customer service/account management experience

An in-depth understanding of insurance and billing of medical claims, revenue cycle and denial/rejection management

Intermediate computer skills (typing, data entry, general computer, and browser usage)

5+ years’ experience medical billing

Contribute and help manage the development and software rollout process as we achieve our DevOps goals.

Bachelor's Degree or higher with 6+ years of hands-on experience.

Experience with modern DevOps and owning deploying code to production as needed.

Experience building micro-services with modern .NET (preferred) or Java/Python development.

Experienced with SQL and NoSQL data solutions, ideally with multi-region systems.

One (1) to two (2) years' experience of revenue cycle management or billing experience in the healthcare field

Knowledge of Medicaid/Managed Care Organization (MCO) billing practices

Submits claims to payors in accordance with payor requirements and agency policy.

Alerts the Operations Team and Manager regarding late or missing documents required for billing.

Works with management to identify, trend, and address root causes of issues in the A/R

Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations

2+ years experience in Optical insurance billing/claims

Claim submission and remittance reconciliation for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial health insurance, and workman's compensation

Review of payer correspondence (EOB'S) to determine next actions for resolution of claims

Ability to identify with specific reason underpayments, denials, and cause of payment delay

Manage a well-defined project management process, communication channels and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices

Leverage organizational resources to assist personnel management in conflict resolution

Collaboration with all Project Managers within the General Manager (GM) structure to ensure consistency of project management processes, tools and practices.

Good understanding of one or more project management methodologies

Work closely with the Operations Managers within the General Manager (GM) structure to drive processes within the Business Unit.

Good knowledge of conflict resolution techniques

Research changes in payer requirements and communicates those requirements to the RCM leadership team

5+ years’ experience medical billing

Works with various revenue cycle applications using time management skills to meet productivity and quality measures.

Understands electronic remittance advices (835) and explanation of benefits; Applies knowledge toward account resolution

Preferred knowledge of CPSI and Rural Health experience

Knowledge of medical terminology such as CPT, HCPCS, APC, ASC, DRG and ICD10

Proficient to expert level knowledge of Cerner Community Works

Outstanding management abilities and a demonstrated track record of leadership, including experience in managing off-shore teams

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Strong executive presence, including communication skills that enable appreciate of others’ perspectives and the ability to offer compelling insights and recommendations.
