Radiology Clinical Secretary Jobs

Implements and monitors DH policies and procedures. Participates in initiatives to improve the referral management process.

Knowledge of insurance benefit programs and medical terminology.

Must have prior computer experience, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Responds to patient calls providing general information and education.

Manages multiple in-baskets by monitoring, prioritizing and properly routing the messages. Completes tasks as assigned by providers or clinical staff.

High school graduate or equivalent with 1 year experience in provider office.

Works in a variety of diagnostic areas with knowledge of emergency and after hours procedures as needed.

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and congenital/acquired pathology as they relate to the use and interpretation of ultrasound diagnostic procedures.

Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.

Knowledge of Imaging processes and fluoroscopic techniques, methods and equipment.

Knowledge of methods of positioning patients for radiographic and magnetic resonance imaging procedures.

Knowledge of principles of image processing and development applicable to diagnostic imaging.

Apply and utilize change management practices throughout the project.

Provide consultative leadership for implementation team. Includes responsibilities such as: interviews, analysis, surveys, strategic direction, implementation procedures, post go live analysis.

Aid in the development of an online knowledge database for team members that is easy to use

Minimum three years’ experience in radiology/cardiology imaging clinical workflow experience.

Experience with hardware and system interconnectivity – including VMs and cloud based software

Assist in budget development and management of resources/supplies for study.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in diagnostic Radiology.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to work independently with self motivation to complete the tasks at hand.

Clinical and/or Basic Research Experience.

Experience in one or more of the following imaging modalities such as Computed Tomography

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).

1 year work experience preferred

Manages patient intercom system by answering call bell in a timely manner and timely notifications of appropriate clinical staff.

High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to type 30 words per minute

Able to professionally and effectively communicate (orally and in writing)

Coordinates and assists in orientation for new secretaries.
