Quantum Fabrication Hardware Engineer Jobs

Experience in primary (lasers), secondary (bend), welding (both manual & robotic).

Support daily operation by responding to tactical safety issues.

Participate in Continuous Improvement to achieve CI200 targets for safety.

Specify and design tooling to improve safety both pro-actively & reactively.

Engineering background required and familiarity with Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

5+ years of meaningful work experience in software development, technical evangelism, technical marketing, developer marketing or similar

1+ years experience with scientific computing or quantum computing

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

3+ years of experience developing C++ applications

Experience with CUDA or GPU computing

You will work with internal and external partners to determine user requirements for a set of features and define development plans.

2+ years of experience in building or maintaining in cloud services on the Azure platform

Prior experience building cloud services on the Azure platform.

Prior experience building web UI using modern toolkits such as React.

You will develop components of the Azure Quantum software infrastructure to enable increasingly advanced quantum software workloads.

You will contribute to the architecture and design to create reliable Azure Quantum services.

To be successful in this role, we believe candidates should have:

·Deep domain expertise in the areas of optics, lasers, electronics, and ultra-high vacuum

Project management skills and demonstrated execution skills (i.e., startup of a welding cell).

Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools.

2 or more years of Machining experience.

Analytical skills to determine welding related cycle times and costs.

Demonstrated understanding of quality planning and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with Shop floor and Engineering

Assess safety requirements and ensure that they are integrated into the process.

Knowledge of Welding Standards, Processes & Operations.

Knowledge of Machine Shop Processes & Operations.

Knowledge of 3D CAD programming including SolidWorks & GibbsCAM.

Strong computer skills and ability to work within an ERP system.

Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, ISO14001 and ITAR requirements is strongly desired.

Hands-on experience with GitHub, Zenhub, JIRA and other project management tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Project Management Professional certification (PMP, PgMP, ITIL)

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

1 year of experience developing and sustaining semiconductor fabrication processes in a cleanroom environment.

Experience in conventional microfabrication techniques, including lithography, deposition of thin films, or wet and dry etching.

5 years of experience working in semiconductor device R&D or production environments.

Experience with process integration and multi-wafer process integration (including TSV, MEMS).

Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
