TRUN, support Planning, Manuf. Eng. And production to manage all Trial Run and point of contact with Quality

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office

Quality management systems, problem solving methodologies, and continuous improvement experience preferred.

Highly motivated, detail, results oriented with strong execution, organization and communication (verbal and written) skills demonstrated experience.

Manage the calibration of standards and test equipment.

B.S. in a technical discipline preferred. Experience considered in lieu of a technical degree.

Strong welding and manufacturing quality experience.

Supervisory experience in a union shop environment.

Project Management experience is a plus

Nurture and manage relationships with key suppliers, managing different cost reduction and productivity projects, and new program sourcing requirements

Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Work with the Commodity Manager growing long term strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Previous experience interfacing with suppliers within the PCBA commodity arena is ideal.

Aerospace environment experience is ideal, but not required.

Must be familiar with First Article requirements per AS9102

Understanding of Federal Aviation Administration requirements and impacts

Intermediate computer skills including electronic mail, word, excel, routine database activity, graphs, etc

Can assume leadership role when lab manager is not present if assigned

Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, routers, blueprints, drawings and specifications

The candidate will be responsible to perform First Article Inspection assessments per AS9102 for verification of customer requirements

Associates Degree in Science and/or Engineering OR minimum of 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Engineering

Minimum of 1 year experience with MS Office suite to include Excel and Outlook

Aerospace and Defense industry experience

Education and/or Experience: Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; minimum seven years of relevant manufacturing experience.

Computer Skills: Proficient in use of personal computers as part of daily work, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Conduct inspections and document results as required for materials incoming, in-process, sub-assemblies, and finished models.

Assist R&D Engineering during introduction of new training models.

Assist QEs and MEs in product quality investigations and root cause analysis.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in PCBA, L10 (HLA) manufacturing.

Experience qualifying Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, processes, and HLA.

Experience leading manufacturing partner initiatives.

Certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).

Define, develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Experience applying time management skills to planning and prioritizing a heavy workload.

Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Three or more years of experience in Distribution Line Construction, Planning, or Civil Construction.

Experience with safe work practices, basic electrical theory, construction/maintenance standards (i.e., GO95 and GO128), and the electric distribution system.

Experience working both independently and in a team environment to meet shared goals and objectives.

Experience interfacing and collaborating with internal and external customers.

Drive processes for volume production of PCBA including manufacturing execution, nonconforming product management, configuration management, traceability tracking, and process control

Own and manage PCBA processes and PCBA products for in-house production

Manage new product introduction of PCBA assemblies, working closely with design engineers, and process specialists

Manage work instructions, process documentation, and training

High volume production experience (consumer goods, automotive, etc.)

Hands-on experience working in SMT processing and/or related PCBA processes from industry, research, or academic projects

Hands-on experience with the management of Quality System Processes such as Deviation, CAPA, and Change Controls.

Manufacturing, Laboratory, quality, technical or engineering experience within biotech of pharmaceutical industry.

Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Experience supervising employees in a represented manufacturing environment

Knowledge of ISO Quality Operating Systems

Associates degree in manufacturing, mechanical, software, or electrical/electronic engineering technology or 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, software, or electrical/electronic engineering technology or 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with PCBA equipment operation and programming

Certifications in IPC or an IPC trainer

Strong software and PC aptitude

Ability to quickly learn and comprehend advanced systems

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through:

Six months to three years of related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Verifies specified requirements of samples by using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, resistance meters, and other equipment as required.

Completion of a High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or vocational or technical degree
