Quality Inspection Associate Jobs in Texas

Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

At least 3 years of quality inspection experience

At least 1 year of quality inspection experience

At least 5 years of quality inspection experience

Experience supervising employees in a represented manufacturing environment

Knowledge of ISO Quality Operating Systems

Requirements: Candidate must have at least 10 years of quality assurance experience, which includes:

Practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.

Thorough experience with J-STD-001 soldering, IPC 600 and/or IPC 610 inspection standards.

Experience performing inspections in aerospace or military / defense manufacturing

Pay rate will be commensurate with experience.

Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).

Preparing a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for any part that does not meet specified requirements and processing it per established procedures.

Managing documentation flow including recorded heat numbers and vendor certifications.

Experienced in use of precision inspection equipment (ex., mics, calipers, ..etc) to measure 2 dimensional details as listed on drawings.

Good knowledge to read & interpret blueprints, including GD&T.

Experience in using and programming of 3D equipment like FARO/ Hexagon arm is required.

Experience in using and programming of CMM is preferred.

Record data clearly and precisely using Fujifilm Irvine Scientific inventory management system and maintain inspection records.

Computer skills necessary including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with ERP/MRP system is a plus

Work independently and have effective communication and organizational skills.

Good oral and written communication skills

Provide work direction to and supervision of the QA Receiving Inspectors.

Maintain and update raw material inspection report database and prepare reports as assigned.
