Three to five years of experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing environment. Automotive experience is highly desirable.

Experience with ISO 9001 (experience with ISO 9001:2015, TS 16949, IATF 16949, or VDA is a plus).

Demonstrated knowledge of methodologies to ensure repeatability such as Cp, Cpk, Pp, & Ppk.

Demonstrated experience with Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).

4+ years' of industry experience

Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry

Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement

Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection

Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures

Participate in internal and external quality audits

Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting

Manages test execution and resolves, communicates or escalates any issues that may result in test plan variance

Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments

5+ years hands on experience with scripting tools such as; Bash, Perl, Python, etc.

Must have experience with wires and MTS.

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium is required.

Responsible for creating and maintaining product and process risk management files to meet FDA and ISO standards

Creates and updates quality system procedures working on cross-functional teams to align best practices, procedures, and applicable regulations (FDA, ISO, etc.)

Evaluates product changes and directs appropriate disposition of product through the company’s change control system

Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer (supplier and end user)

Reviews product and documentation non-conformances and recommends inspection, product and/or quality system modifications

Interfaces with supplier quality representatives concerning issues with quality assurance and assures that effective corrective action is implemented

Bachelor’s Degree (or five years QE experience), plus 3 years in automotive experience. (plus, experience in injection process)

Strong analytical and proven team-oriented problem solving-skills required (8D report)

Solid blueprint reading skills including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), inspection layout skills and Statistical skills

Solid leadership, self-motivation and participative team skills are essential

Ability to interpret customer quality requirements. Strong customer satisfaction orientation (Support customer complaints)

B.S. in engineering or an alternative Bachelor’s degree program with certification as a quality engineer (e.g. CQE).

Strong knowledge of statistical process control, IQ/OQ/PQ, CAPA, supplier quality, FMEA, six sigma tools, and Lean manufacturing techniques.

Hands-on experience dealing with FDA Inspections.

Some software quality experience strongly preferred

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, ideally in medical device manufacturing

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Assist in risk assessments, familiarity with ISO 14971 required

Support regulatory submissions from a quality standpoint

Assist in preparation for internal and external audits
