Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Associates degree in applied science or at least 2 years of cement plant experience

Must be knowledgeable of ASTM standards

Responsible for verifying that the product conforms to quality control specifications

Responsible for ACI testing in the Ready Mix plants and ASTM in the Cement plants

Performs work according to specification sheets and forwards to supervisors as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: knowledge of complex scientific/office procedures and techniques relating to position.

Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel. Experience with technical writing and LIMS a plus.

BA/BS degree in Science (preferably chemistry, biochemistry, biology, microbiology, or engineering) and two years’ experience in a regulated laboratory environment.

Skills in using various types of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment.

Knowledge of aseptic technique, cGMP, cGLP or FDA regulations a plus.

Experience using ISO 9001 quality management system auditing

Familiarity with quality management tools (control chart, FTA, FMEA, etc.) and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Practical experience with materials analysis, testing, and chemical analysis equipment.

Extensive data analysis experience such as statistical process control of production data

Experience in defect reduction of high-volume manufacturing products

Conducting and implementing quality control systems for Li-ion battery manufacturing processes.
