Quality Control Technician Specialist Jobs in Alabama

Assist in the management of sub-tier suppliers

Recommend process adjustments based on quality control data, visual inspection, and experience.

Help to manage and train of other technicians working in the quality process.

HSD required. Bachelor's degree and/or 3 to 5 years of equivalent training and/or experience preferred.

Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

1-3 years of safety experience (safety committee, OSHA 10/30, etc.).

Knowledge of utility depths and placements.

Effectively lead drilling teams to ensure employees have the necessary resources and knowledge to operate machines.

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

OSHA 10 Hour Construction and/or 30 Hour Construction a plus. Will train the right individual.

MISS Dig RTE Training a plus. Will train the right individual.

Support monthly QC reporting requirements as needed.

Act as backup for ProFlow requirements as needed.

Support statistical requirements and create charts for internal customers.

Supply charts of top 10 Mobile products to QC Manager for monthly reviews.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in laboratory and ISO environment preferred

Experience with information systems, preferably SAP and Synergi

In depth knowledge of Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) preferred

Effective time management and organizational skills needed

Perform water treatment duties as described by the Quality Manager where applicable

Perform Internal Clean in Place (CIP) setup as described by the Quality Manager where applicable

Effective attention to detail, analytical, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills

Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Must have strong knowledge and experience with SQF, FDA, and USDA Regulations and Directives, HACCP, SOP’s, and GMP’s.

Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Prior food processing experience preferred.

Experience using laboratory equipment: scales, thermometers, and computers.

Good computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and WMS/ERP.

Human relations and good interpersonal skills.
