Attends continuing education classes and seminars to maintain and improve skill set to better monitor and maintain inventory. *

Alerts specific Jays sales representative/account manager when custom product needs to be re-ordered. *

• Assist in reviewing contracts for completeness and accuracy and ensure edits are made and recorded properly.

• Create favorable conditions for contract implementation by signing companies.

• Assist in maintaining site-specific contract templates, files and databases.

• Oversee basic financial aspects of the project and hours/tasks available for each contract; Report discrepancies promptly.

• Ensure all relevant documents are submitted to the Trial Master File (TMF) as per company

Four-year degree or equivalent experience

Minimum four (4) years’ meetings and travel industry experience

Responsible for sourcing of hotel rooms, convention centers, and function spaces for new/repeat meetings and events

Source rates and availability and strategize on recommendations for destinations, hotels, resorts, ships, and venues

Negotiate competitive rates and terms/conditions on the client’s behalf, leveraging supplier relationships and seeking opportunities to enhance value

Develop and maintain industry relationships including hotels, NSOs, DMCs, and CVBs

Contract Management: Demonstrates advanced knowledge of aspects of contract management, including contract negotiation, schedule and contract requirements, and supplier evaluation.

Consult with department Director in vendor contracting/purchasing strategy, vendor relationship management, administration, and organizational policies/procedures for contracting/purchasing.

Senior Purchasing & Contract Manager

Represent the Vendor & Contract Solutions department in leading and managing vendor contracts/purchasing for various WV client groups.

Communicate WV policy/processes and best practices to clients.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Ensures the successful negotiation and on-going management of clinical trial agreements with investigative sites.

Demonstrates expertise and experience performing all responsibilities outlined in the Level 2 role above.

Elevates to CTA Lead role for portfolio management for sponsor satisfaction

Understands project management and service delivery

2-4 years’ Experience with contracts.

Two or more years Industry experience required.

Working knowledge of forecasting strategies and methods of inventory control are required.

Prepares purchase orders based upon specifications and requirements, soliciting for quotes as required.

Operate within the framework of a publicly owned entity which can have different requirements from private-sector companies.

In depth knowledge of ERP systems and Supply Chain business processes; knowledgeable on the procure to pay process.
