Overview Public Works Laborer is a position that involves performing a variety of manual labor tasks related to the maintenance and construction of public works projects. These tasks may include digging trenches, laying pipe, operating heavy equipment, and performing general maintenance and repair work. Public Works Laborers must be able to work in all weather conditions and be able to lift and carry heavy objects. These tasks may include digging trenches, laying pipe, operating heavy equipment, and performing general maintenance and repair work.
