The Senior Public Health Nurse provides obstetrical/maternal health services including education and counseling to pregnant clients;

Must have good verbal and written communication skills;

Considerable knowledge of and ability to apply the principles and practices of public health;

Knowledge of available resources and organizations and the ability to coordinate these as needed;

Adequate computer skills to allow communication, patient record documentation, and accessing of information.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT COMPLIANCE:

Extensive knowledge of nursing management, public health nursing, and practices of public

Proven ability to provide effective leadership and operations management; ability to direct

Master’s in Nursing or Management and/or B.S. in Nursing is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Excellent skills in oral and written communication, community assessment, planning, and staff

Nursing and senior-level administrative experience in public health, as well as experience with the Incident Command System (ICS), preferred.

·Are super detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills.

·Oversee the overall management and coordination of the case management team which serves individuals experiencing homelessness.

·Have the following educational credentials: Bachelors with a minimum of three years of leadership experience

·Have a minimum of two years of healthcare administration, experience working with managed care providers

·Are passionate about leadership – you’ll be providing direct supervision and management of assigned staff!
