2-3 years’ experience in provider services, healthcare services or IT as clerk

Work with Provider Data Manager/Director on creating and maintaining provider data business rules to support operational activities

Ability to define, explain, and escalate potential issues that are identified to Provider Data Manager/Director for review and resolution

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Data entry minimum of 45 wpm

Assesses the skill level of a learner and how to communicate and train necessary information to improve daily job performance

1-2 years of experience leading others directly or indirectly

1 year of experience providing facilitation and training

Excellent counting skills and detail focused

Ability to meet attendance requirements

Flexible and adaptable with schedule which would include weekends, nights, working some required holidays, with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime

Works with the Medical Management Team to ensure adequate clinical coverage of their medical floor and the department

Maintains professional competence necessary to perform job responsibilities; maintains and provides agency with records of continuing education activities

Maintains board eligibility or board certification in medicine (and subspecialty if applicable)

Participates in educational conferences with other practitioners

Actively participates in educational efforts through HMS and BIDMC

Current AAHIVM credentials (or is actively pursing AAHIVIM certification)
