Skills, experience, qualifications / knowledge required

§  Strong business analysis, project management organization and communication skills

The following skills or qualifications in our ideal candidate:

Past Experience as a software development architect, technical lead, software developer, or QA analyst.

Robust organizational and time management skills.

Experience in producing detailed systems requirements and performing data analysis for projects that are very technical in nature.

Create and manage project timelines and task lists, lead project status meetings, and manage the change control process.

Meet with clients to develop and document detailed business requirements.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Strong ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Maintain technical proficiency in project management software, enterprise systems and public safety technology solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience performing the role of Project Manager and/or Business Analyst or similar role.

Proficiency with project management and business analysis best practices.

Ensures project management standards are utilized throughout the projects

Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

Minimizes and manages client exposure and risk on project

Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
