For the right person, this hybrid position offers project manager and business analyst opportunities – however business analysis skills are most important for this role.


The following skills or qualifications in our ideal candidate:


  • Proficiency in creation of business analysis and project management deliverables.
  • 4-5 years of combined business analysis and project management experience.
  • Someone to take ownership of a project, make it their own; and have fun while doing it.
  • A bit of Charisma while communicating with stakeholders and clients, but able to buckle down and have a clear vision of the end goal.
  • Someone who wants to listen to expectations, ask questions, and is determined to find the right path for every client.
  • Experience managing a large number of concurrent projects in a product-oriented environment.
  • Past Experience as a software development architect, technical lead, software developer, or QA analyst.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and with agile project delivery methods.
  • Proven problem solving skills, with ability to resolve complex issues in an environment of rapid change professionally and with an electric positive attitude; ability to ask questions, detect unstated assumptions, and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently, to initiate and complete work assignments effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to navigate many different tasks, while having clarity to prioritize.
  • PMP, CSM, or any other BA certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline, or related professional experience.
  • Experience working with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
  • Experience with portfolio management, project management, requirements management, and application lifecycle management processes.
  • Experience managing projects involving software development, infrastructure upgrades, COTS and SaaS implementations with in-house staff and external vendors.
  • Ability to listen and integrate ideas from diverse views, build and maintain respectful relationships and collaborate with others.
  • Experience gathering and writing requirements for software applications.



A list of responsibilities for our Business Analysts


  • Identify business areas that can be improved to increase efficiency and strengthen business processes.
  • Create and manage product backlogs prioritizing epics, features, and user stories according to customer expectations, market changes, future business needs and organizational priorities;
  • Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, which include stand up meetings, backlog grooming, iteration/sprint planning, story pointing, demos, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Create and maintain project management deliverables including project charter, project schedule, contracts, status reports, issues, risks, communication plan(both internal and external), project portfolio data, project KPIs, and cost reports.
  • Assists in developing a feature list and rapidly adapts to change during iterations.
  • Rank requirements in relative importance of implementing each requirement against all other requirements.
  • Assists and support in QA and UAT testing
  • Gather and document solution requirements that are unambiguous, testable, and traceable; ability to verify and validate testable requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, business units, technical team, and external partners such as vendors from project initiation to delivery.
  • Create and maintain business analysis deliverables such as process maps, user story maps, requirements documents, and use cases.
  • Consults directly with designers and developers on interpretation of user stories and features and approaches for testing software.
