Fact-check pieces and flag factual errors

Find appropriate images for each article and secure image rights/permissions

Stage drafted articles in WordPress, ensuring image captions are formatted according to house style

Specific Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

At least 2 years of experience writing and/or editing for a major beauty publication(s).

2+ years of experience in an editorial or content management role at a consumer-facing media outlet or brand

Assign, top-edit, and manage revision process of fitness stories using SEO research and best practices

Proven experience in top-editing and competence in copy editing

Knowledgeable in the essentials of SEO writing

Experience working in a CMS

Experience using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, or similar

Experience writing and reporting for a news, travel, or lifestyle publication.
