Oversee the sourcing and provision of technical resources as needed for new and existing courses and co-curricular programs

Experience in a leadership role in an academic or industry-related environment

Terminal degree in the discipline or a relevant field

Distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and/or professional expertise

Thorough understanding of curriculum development and the use of assessment

Commitment to teaching and learning

Associate Chair of Performing Arts

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Making strategic planning recommendations and ensure strategic goal attainment for marketing and communication-related initiatives.

Creating and designing promotional and informational materials that increase the awareness and utilization of services, programs, and events.

Implementing and maintaining a brand identity for the Office of Performing Arts and Engagement

Communicating the Office of Performing Arts and Engagement brand effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum of 1 year working in marketing, graphic design, or similar creative field

Knowledgeable about appropriate use of performing and visual arts in healthcare settings.

Strong organizational skills – use of Outlook Calendar, Excel spreadsheets.

Ability to negotiate and complete requests of artists to meet performance needs; strong listening skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Comfortable communicating and leveraging ideas to a variety of audiences including execute personnel, donors, patients, and performers.

Use and basic troubleshooting of technology such as electronic tablets, smart phones, wireless networks, computers, and printers.

Management of audience and house; supervision of usher crew

Ability to independently manage production support projects and productions by breaking segments into working units that coincide with production needs.

Serves as liaison between Senior Technical Lead and Production Lead, during rehearsals and performances

Operates and maintains lighting, sound, and recording systems for events in COTA.

Provides stage set-up, including movement of equipment, chairs, stands, risers, platforms, and shells. Also setting up of sounds and recording equipment.

Interacts with client group and respond to event needs.

At least 20 years of age, and one year’s experience leading theatre/creative movement/music

Manage a Small Program Area Budget

Delegate tasks and responsibilities to group counselors as needed

Must enjoy working with children of all backgrounds

Passionate about working outdoors and engaging campers ages 5 – 15.

Commit to June 5th through August 26th.
