This includes researching, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services from vendors. The Procurement Officer II must ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. They must also ensure that all purchases are made at the best possible price and quality. The Procurement Officer II must also maintain accurate records of all purchases and ensure that all vendors are paid in a timely manner. Job Skills Required• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
• Ability to research and analyze data
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement
• Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Knowledge of contract management
Job Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement
• Experience in negotiating and managing contracts
• Experience in researching and analyzing data
Job Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors
• Monitor and manage purchase orders
• Ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
