Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.

Notify management of customer or employee accidents.

Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair.

Assist Pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a judgment call by a Pharmacist.

Promote trust and respect among associates.

Enter patient's information into computer accurately and efficiently.

High school diploma or equivalent. College courses or vocational education desirable but not required.

Attention to detail, interpersonal skills within and outside of the pharmacy department, accountability, and willingness to learn are strongly encouraged.

Fills physician orders, medication carts, and stock requisitions accurately.

Prepares intravenous admixtures and other sterile preparations (including parenteral nutrition) safely and accurately using appropriate techniques.

Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately per established schedule.

Assists in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing medications and supplies in appropriate locations. Aids in returns and recalls of medications.

Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities

Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function

Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned

Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of residence OR National Certification without restrictions based on regulatory requirements of worksite

Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction

Extensive work experience within own function

Manage patient paperwork and billing documentation. and/or

Manage and support automated drug distribution by picking, delivering and restocking medications, and assisting with returns, waste, and reporting/resolution of discrepancies.

2 to 5 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred

0 to 2 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician required

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required within 180 Days or

Conduct double-check of medication using barcode scanning technology prior to restocking of Automated Dispensing Cabinets or unit dose cart fill. and/or
