As the Front Pharmacy Technician , you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Work Hours: 7 AM - 6 PM CST

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details
  • Prescription requests
  • Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
  • Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery
  • Assist with operations support, training, and process improvements
  • Review and verification of members'/patients' prescriptions
  • Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
  • Customer onboarding
  • Creation/ routing of pharmacy orders through receipt

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of residence OR National Certification without restrictions based on regulatory requirements of worksite
