Overview A Pharmacy Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy. This includes overseeing the staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that the pharmacy is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. The Pharmacy Operations Specialist must also be knowledgeable about the products and services offered by the pharmacy and be able to provide excellent customer service. Detailed Job Description The Pharmacy Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. This includes overseeing the staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that the pharmacy is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. The Pharmacy Operations Specialist must also be knowledgeable about the products and services offered by the pharmacy and be able to provide excellent customer service. The Pharmacy Operations Specialist is also responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the pharmacy. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related field
• At least two years of experience in a pharmacy setting
• Valid pharmacy technician certification
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Excellent customer service skills
