Perception Hardware Engineering Manager Jobs in California

10 years of overall experience with 5 years of management experience as Senior Manager within the automotive industry

Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills, organizational capabilities, and collaborative and interpersonal skills

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineer or Computer Science or equivalent experience

Collaboration experience with suppliers, development partners, and customers from product definition through mass production

Develop, supervise and refine product execution plans included staffing, schedules, contingencies. Test all plans against precision.

Continually identify and communicate the most critical priorities on the project. Align and lead a multi-functional team to complete those priorities.

Experience with modern Agile software management practices and Jira.

Experience working with sensors (cameras, microphones, lidars, radar, etc) on real-time platforms.

Demonstrated experience with sensor fusion, tracking of perception system performance metrics, and association, filtering and estimation algorithms.

Experience with compiled languages (C, C++) and Python.

Experience with the Nvidia toolchain and Jetson compute platforms or similar.

Proven advocacy for teams and experience leading others to excel is essential.

4+ years of experience with manufacturing and shipping perception hardware (e.g. computer vision/optical systems).

Strong leadership experience recruiting, building, and managing a team of engineers.
