Pediatric Massage Therapist Jobs in California

3+ years of experience with the pediatric population

Able to manage own schedule and appointments

Able to travel to patients’ homes (in and around San Jose/South Bay Area)

Driver’s license and auto insurance

Comfortable with modern technology and virtual meetings (e.g. Gmail, Google Meet, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)

Up-to-date COVID-19 and flu vaccination

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Create and manage a caseload and schedule

1 year of pediatric experience required

Experience with ASD strongly preferred

Determine and develop session activities that appropriately

Address client needs and goals

Experience with NDT, DMI, CME and other handling techniques and/or continuing education coursework in those same fields.

Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients, primarily ages 0-3, to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and functional goals.

Stay current with advancements in pediatric physical therapy through continuing education and professional development.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.

Knowledge and expertise in evaluating and treating various pediatric conditions, including developmental delays, neurological disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and genetic disorders.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
