Pediatric Occupational Therapist Jobs

Grow Beyond is currently looking for qualified candidates, ready to provide in-home occupational therapy services to clients with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are looking for therapists who are professional, creative and curious, and excited to share that enthusiasm with our clients and their families.

At Grow Beyond, our philosophy is that children learn through play, and the ability to play, recreate, and engage in non-screen based activities throughout the day is crucial to quality of life. Through our play-based approach, we are able to target a variety of skill areas, including but not limited to:

Gross motor

Fine motor

Visual motor

Emotional regulation

Sensory processing

Executive functioning

Pretend play

Grow Beyond believes that by providing in-home services we are able to show families how to use what they already have to meet the needs of their child, while also introducing and testing out alternative equipment effectiveness prior to families having to purchase. It is our goal to create a home environment that empowers families to be a part of the development of their child’s skillset within the home, even when the therapist is not present.

Responsibilities

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Evaluate and reassess clients as needed
• Create and manage a caseload and schedule
• Determine and develop session activities that appropriately
• Drive and arrive to all sessions in a safe and timely manner
• Address client needs and goals
• Create and complete comprehensive session notes
• Create comprehensive treatment plans and goals as needed

Qualifications

• Licensed in CA
• Valid and current car insurance
• Masters in Occupational Therapy
• Experience with ASD strongly preferred
• Valid and current CA drivers license
• 1 year of pediatric experience required
