Payroll Hris Analyst Jobs in Virginia

Review and verify source documents for bonuses and other variable pay and submit for approval by appropriate manager

Liase with HR department on payroll related items such as benefits and leave

Communication skills – verbal & written.

Must have either a bachelor’s degree or no less than two years of relevant experience

Process payroll transactions for employees in the United States

Accurately enter payroll data, including bonuses and other variable pay

Any satisfactory combination of work, education, training, or experience relevant to the position, as determined by Marion County.

Working knowledge of PERS rules and ORS relating to PERS.

Acts as a resource to Human Resources and Benefits departments for payroll interdependencies.

Misc. tasks and projects as assigned by Payroll Manager.

Four years of experience in responsible accounting and/or bookkeeping work; including at least one year in the payroll function; OR

Maintains employee set-ups for PERS purposes in Oracle.
