Obtain working knowledge of inclusion/exclusion criteria for each study protocol.

Overall responsibility for the timely enrollment of patients/study participants for all clinical research studies at their assigned site(s).

Conduct pre-screening interviews for potential study participants to determine potential eligibility for study participation.

Schedule patient/study participant screening and/or enrollment visits at the research site.

Provide ongoing reporting on outcomes of patient/study participant contact attempts, eligibility assessments, and scheduled screening appointments.

Build and maintain ongoing relationships with potential patients/study participants by maintaining open and professional communication.

Strong follow through skills and ability to proactively identify and solve problems

Must have strong communication skills

Clinical research or medical experience preferred

Responsible for recruiting subjects for all enrolling studies

Communicate with potential subjects and schedule appointments for screening visits

Request medical records of potential and current research participants

2+ years prior experience as a clinical research coordinator

Successful completion of GCP certification and Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) certification preferred.

Experience performing clinical assessments, including but not limited to obtaining vital signs, EKGs, blood draws, processing/shipping lab specimens.

Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, leadership, study subjects, sponsors, CROs, and vendors.

Associate degree or BS / BA in Life Sciences or related discipline.

Communicating and managing bed availability by utilizing escalation protocols for bed cleaning and Management involvement.

Effectively manages acute patient transfers to Scripps and within Scripps.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organizational and analytical skills; innovative with ability to identify and solve problems.

Previous transfer center or bed placement experience.
