Contact patients to collect and arrange payment plans

Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing discrepancies

Skilled at information collection and management

One (1) year of patient account experience or extensive knowledge of patient financial services and account-based review

Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data in multiple applications

Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures

Major payor and Governmental payor knowledge

Patient Registrar, Registration, Crystal Lake, Days, 40 Hrs/ 2 wks

Schedule: Varies between 5:30am - 6:00pm

Gathers and enters in computer all necessary registration information from patient/family.

Verifies insurance information. Disperses admission information to appropriate departments. Performs pre-admission for patients.

Works closely with clinics and physicians' office to coordinate admissions of patients and appointments for outpatient services.

Documents information pertaining to Advanced Directives into patient charts.
