Pastry Clerk Jobs

Working knowledge of and ability to speak and understand basic English required

Prior professional pastry experience or completion of a pastry program preferred

Physical requirements include but are not limited to:

Must be at least 18 years old

Maintains a valid Food Handler's Card at all times and follows health department guidelines at all times.

Solid fundamental knowledge of scaling ingredients with proper measurements and mixing.

2 years or more, of experience as a pastry assistant, pastry cook, baker, or similar

Knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process

Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

Assist the Pastry Team with the production, planning, and execution of desserts for catered events.

Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of utilizing deck ovens, rack ovens, and proofers.
