Maintains a thorough knowledge of a facility or, where applicable, multiple facilities

Demonstrated ability in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office Word, Power point, Excel, and Outlook, or other job-related software.

Take ownership of any guest complaint and notify a shift manager immediately

Receives guest payments in lower valet departure area.

Utilize the guest surname when appropriate

Communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Must be able to sit or stand at workstation for extended periods of time

Reports any problem or unusual activities to management.

Carries out reasonable requests by management including assisting other departments when needed.

6 months Customer service experience

Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:

Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standards

Knowledge of the hotel's fire system and procedures in the event of an emergency

Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements

Must have at least one year customer service employment experience

At least one-year experience in luxury hospitality setting as Valet Parking Attendant.

Greets guests who arrive by private car and assists guests descending from cars.

Issues appropriate valet parking ticket to guests when Door Staff is unavailable.

Opens hotel doors for all guests and gives verbal welcome when not parking or retrieving guest cars.

Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hails taxis as needed.

A valid California driver's license and good driving record.

Safely perform valet parking and EV services including parking, retrieving and delivering customer vehicles and management of EV charging stations

Some customer service/public relations experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Acknowledge and greet all incoming customers in a friendly, welcoming manner that demonstrates First and Lasting Impressions

Tactfully manages difficult or emotional customer situations

Manage cash, valet tickets, ticketless technology systems, keys and equipment in accordance with company policy

Have working knowledge of Account Specific Details

Manage parking areas (barricades, directing traffic, etc...)
