Part Time It Support Technician Jobs in Georgia

Education and/or experience in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.

Experience in a self-directed work environment.

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system administration principles.

Knowledge of IT security standards is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Sets up, configures, and Supports Windows laptops, desktops, iPads and iPhones. (Hardware and software)

Responsible for basic computer setup and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams

Some basic knowledge of networking, including Wi-Fi, is plus.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Physical requirement: Sitting, stooping, bending, visual acuity, finger dexterity, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds

Help users with Android and iPhone setup and troubleshooting.

Occasionally running data cables, such as Cat6.

Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline or equivalent preferred

Education/Training (both required and desired):

2+ years of professional experience in the required task area required

Some experience maintaining Linux systems

Experience monitoring and enforcing Cybersecurity practices and policies

Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot IT equipment including PCs, laptops, printers, PDAs, and all other peripheral equipment

Utilizes EAM and Project management software using front-end user enhanced web tools within prescribed guidelines

Researches and recommends system equipment upgrades and manages equipment inventory
