Current Packaging (Bottle/Can/Keg) Specialist at Golden Brewery with demonstrated knowledge of packaging equipment, systems, and processes

5+ years of Packaging experience preferred

Prioritizes and coordinates activities to support all areas of production while coaching team members with little direct supervision

Confirm packaging material matches quality requirements.

Good knowledge of all safety procedures

Complete any job task given within reason assigned by supervisor or manager

To pack on all thermoforming machines.

Ensure product meets quality standards.

Ensure correct quantity is packed.

Possess strong mathematical, analytical and sales skills.

CPR certification required within 30 days of hire

Adapts well and quickly to various situations and multi-task.

Communicates well with members and teammates with a customer service mentality.

Team player and be willing to jump into any task and get it done.

Able to work independently, multi-task in a fast pace and demanding work environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experience

May experience temperature extremes based on outside temperature

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract 4 digit numbers

Reports errors, deficiencies, discrepancies and observations to management. May stop operations when product safety is or may be compromised.

Ensures compliance with all worldwide regulatory agency requirements and company-specific regulations related to quality of product and employee safety.

Performs Quality functions in classified areas, including production oversight, manufacturing process assessments, and aseptic intervention oversight.

Initiates and authors Nonconformance Reports and corrective and preventative action responses.

Conducts bi-annual inspections of classified areas in preparation for facility shutdown periods.

Initiates standard operating procedure (SOP) revisions as needed to support continuous improvement.

Work directly with maintenance personnel, other line personnel and management to problem-solve to ensure maximum production efficiencies.

Working knowledge of production environment and machinery.
