Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities

We offer four Day Shifts of 10 hours per day (4 tens) and shifts are available 7 days per week.

Who exactly are casual UPS Package Delivery Drivers?

Must have proficient computer skills, ideally with experience using SAP, Oracle or equivalent ERP system, Warehouse Management System.

Education / Experience / Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 1-year Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) driving experience.

Required to pass a DOT physical and obtain a DOT certification.

Must have a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal Regulations (cGMP, DOT, IATA, OSHA)

Good written and oral communication skills

Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.

Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.

Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.

Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities

$17.75 (base) to $20.25 per hour

Must have a valid driver's license

Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.

Minimum of Three (3) Years driving

Consent to Drug Screening Test

Ability to pace self to deliver packages at up to 200 stops per day, in a timely manner

Ability to drive delivery vans safely

Ability to lift up to 50 lb packages

Able to self organize, learn fast and be mentally alert

Medical, dental, and vision after waiting period

Drivers must be able to function a smartphone device and adapt to our routing technology

Performs pre and post trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard VIR (Vehicle Inspection Report).

Completes and submits customer tickets as required.

Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation (includes picture taking, notes etc.)

Requires pushing, pulling and lifting 50 pounds or more and pushing or pulling up to 450 pounds on wheels.

Pass drug test and background check.

Use handheld technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Have great interpersonal communication and customer service skills

Prompt, Safe, & Accurate Deliveries

Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road

Always interact in a positive and professional manner while delivering products to customers’ homes, retail stores, and business locations
