Amazon Package Delivery Driver - Broomfield, Colorado

Speedbox LLC is hiring immediately for full-time Package Delivery Driver Couriers to deliver Amazon boxes from the DDV3 warehouse in Broomfield, Colorado. This Amazon delivery driver job offers starting pay of $21.00 per hour, weekly pay, 3 weeks paid time off (PTO), up to $5250 per year towards tuition at select education institutions, and comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching and health, dental, and vision insurance plans. This full-time courier delivery career is a fast-paced, physical, outdoors job that involves continuous walking, bending, and lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs. • $5250 in Tuition Benefits Each Year: Full-time delivery associates are eligible for up to $5250 in tuition benefits that can be used for college & university classes at participating in-network educational institutions.
• 3 Weeks Paid Time Off: Employees begin accruing PTO on their first day and can earn approximately 3 weeks of PTO each calendar year. PTO may be used for any personal time and vacations, along with for holiday pay and paid sick leave purposes.
• Hourly Pay: Starting pay of $21.00/hour, with pay increases to $21.35/hour after 6 months, $21.75/hour after 12 months, $22.10/hour after 18 months, and $22.50/hour after 24 months of employment with the company.
• 3 Days Off Each Week: Our full-time team members work 4 days a week, typically 32 - 40 hours per week, including at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of their schedule. Voluntary overtime opportunities may be available during peak periods for team members to work a 5th day to earn extra pay.
• 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Matching: Employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) program after 90 days of employment. Speedbox LLC matches 50% of the first 4% you save towards retirement, vesting after 18 months of employment.

WHEN DO WE WORK?
Our shifts start at 10:45 AM each day. Delivery routes take approximately 8 - 10 hours to complete, with our team generally finishing before 9:15 PM. Full-time team members typically work 4 days a week, 32 - 40 hours a week. All team members must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

We work from Amazon's DDV3 facility in Broomfield, Colorado located at I-25 & 160th Ave. Our building's address is 400 W 160th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80023.

WHAT ARE THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVER?

• Arrive on-time to the delivery station by 10:45 AM, where we’ll pick up our delivery vehicle, perform a pre-trip inspection, and meet with our fellow team members.
• Lift, bend, reach above our head, kneel, crouch, and stretch at each delivery stop while handling packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Hand load packages into the delivery van at the start of each shift, which requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and sorting 250 to 300 boxes and packages weighing up to 50 lbs each.
• Work outdoors and drive in all-weather conditions and various weather extremes, including hot temperatures, cold temperatures, rain, snow, and high wind.
• Use a handheld smartphone for route navigation, to read customer delivery information, to speak and text message with dispatchers, and to accurately record the delivery status of packages at approximately 200 stops per shift.
• Walk 8 – 12 miles per day while climbing 20 – 40 flights of stairs when delivering packages to the front door of homes in residential neighborhoods and multi-story apartment complexes.
• Drive a high-roof cargo delivery van safely for 75 – 125 miles per day, while following all safe driving procedures regarding seat belt usage, speeding, and defensive driving. All delivery vehicles are equipped with a vehicle telematics system and dash camera that monitor safety.
