Management of large databases on Oracle – including installation, design, configuration, backup & recovery, performance analysis, tuning, capacity planning/forecast and security.

Excellent verbal and written communication along with the ability to articulate technical solutions for various levels of management and technical staff.

Oracle Encryption/Key Management using local wallet management or KMS e.g. Oracle Key Vault. (1+Year)

Oracle Exadata deployment, administration experience. Oracle Exadata patching experience is required.

Must be a team player with excellent collaboration and people skills to be able to engage in productive group discussions.

Demonstrate proficient troubleshooting skills to provide resolution to incidents and problem management projects

Experience with Ansible, Chef, or any other configuration and automation management framework

Participate in a production support on-call rotation, completing incident and problem management tasks as assigned.

Escalate support tasks to other teams or technology management when needed

Experience and practical knowledge of agile development process is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Systems or comparable work experience

What experience(s), knowledge, and education we are looking for:

Remediating security vulnerabilities or applying security controls to any hardware or software platform. Experience with STIGS and FIPS.

Demonstrated operations experience with Linux based platform to include installation, administration, and troubleshooting in support of Oracle databases.

Experience with high availability GoldenGate or Data Guard preferred.

Experience with container database and pluggable database desired.

Hands on experience with Oracle RAC desired.
