Detailed Job Description Optician assistants are responsible for providing customer service to customers in an optometry office. They help customers select eyewear, take measurements, and help opticians with administrative tasks. They may also be responsible for helping customers with contact lens fittings and providing basic eye care services. They must be knowledgeable about the different types of eyewear and contact lenses available and be able to explain the features and benefits of each. They must also be able to take accurate measurements and be able to explain the different types of lenses and frames available. Job Skills Required
