Overview Operations Manager in Training is a position that provides an opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become an effective operations manager. The position is designed to provide hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a business, while also providing the opportunity to learn the principles of operations management. Detailed Job Description The Operations Manager in Training is responsible for learning the principles of operations management and developing the skills necessary to become an effective operations manager. This includes learning the principles of inventory management, production scheduling, and quality control. The Operations Manager in Training will also be responsible for developing the skills necessary to manage personnel, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees. The Operations Manager in Training will also be responsible for developing the skills necessary to manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
