Operational Risk Director Consumer Operations Jobs

4-10+ years of experience in Risk Management or Capital Markets at high-growth marketplaces/fintechs.

Maintain, enhance, or develop relevant Treasury policies and procedures, including Investment Policy, FX Risk, and Interest Rate Risk Management Policy.

Responsible for counterparty credit risk management and collaboration with key stakeholders to execute on the framework.

Understands Treasury investment portfolio management, foreign currency risk, and counterparty credit risk evaluation.

Knowledge of capital markets funding and financing transactions.

Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts effectively.

Broad knowledge of fraud operations strategy, process optimization, and customer experience a validated history of balancing fraud/risk and consumer experience needs

Progressive experience with a result oriented, growth company, preferably in consumer financial services or financial technologies products

Experience in leading large, complex programs, with the ability to help oversee third-party partners obligations

Manage the seasonal launch of each category of product including content, product images, item data uploads and merchandising.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Experience in growing an e-Commerce business through technology, marketing, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Collaborate with internal and external business partners on product category objectives and develop the strategy, plans and budgets to achieve goals.

Perform hands-on updates and analysis (content uploading, analytics monitoring, merchandising and DTC best practices

Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.

Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with internal and external partners.

Knowledge of Wholesale Loan products and Wholesale Credit Risk is preferred

Experience in process reengineering/ lean process design and control design/ assessment/ testing is preferred

Detailed oriented with analytical skills. Expert in Microsoft Office Tools.

Serves as a subject matter expert for all operational risk & control performance issues that surface.

Financial risk management and budgeting skills are a plus.

A bachelor's degree with focus in Environmental, Health & Safety/Risk/Safety Management, Operations Management, or a closely related field.

Thorough knowledge and experience applying OSHA standards and communicating Federal, State and Local laws and guidelines during site visits/audits.

8+ years of experience in implementing systems to manage warehouse and/or distribution center operational risks.

5+ years of proven experience in operations/industrial related managerial/leadership role(s).

Exercises advanced knowledge of health & safety, industrial hygiene, EPA, EHS, and OSHA regulations.

4+ years of Management experience

Influence Operational Risk teams to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact organization and management across functions

Ensure reporting, escalation, and remediation of issues, deficiencies or regulatory matters regarding operational risk to leaders, committees, and appropriate executive management

Manage the relationship with the Consumer Operations Executive (Operating Committee + 1 level) and the Consumer Controls Executive

Manage communication and collaboration with business heads, Legal, Audit, and regulators on risk related topics
