Provide proactive utilization management for patients with acute high-risk needs.

Manage/ support staff with clinic emergencies and disruptive patient behavior.

Required Certifications: CPR, ACLS, PALS, BLS (Preferred)

Min. 3 years of nursing infusion therapy experience (Preferred)

Complete patient visit documents and submit all documentation according to company policy and HIPAA compliance.

Perform venous punctures. Insert and remove IV lines at different locations of the body with expertise, efficiency, and accuracy.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position.

Minimum 2 years of relevant front-desk customer related experience (preferably in a healthcare setting) is required.

An additional 15% on top of the base hourly rate (if not an employee already in a benefited position).

Work with patients’ families to help improve the patient’s abilities

You will support Practitioners and medical assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Manage inventory of medical supplies and stock infusion rooms with appropriate supplies

This role will play an important role in communicating effectively with patients and staff and maintaining an organized administrative schedule.

They will prepare and assist in the setup of infusion rooms for the examination and treatment of patients.

Oversee the patient triage, from scheduling appointments and assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services.

Prepare patients for examination or infusion, take vitals, and record patients' health history.

Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them

Strong physical assessment and critical thinking skills

Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge

Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task

Compassionate with good communication skills

Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification in specialty area required.

Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.

Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.

Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests.

Interprets laboratory and test results.

Confers with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.

Outstanding bedside manners with patients who may experience sudden changes in personality, mood, and emotion

Start IVs in all types of patients, especially those with difficult to locate veins

Clean the treatment rooms, reception area, and bathrooms

Prepare medical trays and configure infusion pumps

Stock, organize, and count medical supplies

Collect patient vitals and record charts in the EMR system

Remote education platform, with training and brush up for many specialty skill sets

Provides remote medical records coding and abstracting services to our clients nationwide; and

Work remotely from a home office.

Reimbursement for certain additional certifications

Ability to work from home using high speed internet

Experience with EMR, multiple encoders and abstracting systems

Continuing education courses and or certification in intravenous therapy strongly preferred

Current-Active IV RN Experience Required

Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
