Ketamine Infusion Nurse Jobs

Innerbloom Ketamine Therapy is a small but growing ketamine clinic near downtown SLO. Our goal is to help people in our community live happier and healthier lives. When used appropriately, we believe that ketamine infusions are a rapid, effective, and safe way to accelerate and sustain positive changes in mental health.

We are looking for a nurse with 3 or more years’ experience to start IVs and monitor patients who are receiving IV ketamine infusions to treat anxiety, depression, pain, and more. In addition to the requirements listed below, your familiarity with psychedelic-assisted therapy, outstanding bedside manners, and attention to cleanliness will be greatly valued.

Your Duties:

• Start IVs in all types of patients, especially those with difficult to locate veins
• Stock, organize, and count medical supplies
• Help patients with their visit, payments, and scheduling
• Monitor patient conditions and notify the onsite physician of changes (aka, facilitation / sitting)
• Support patients with integration after their infusion
• Collect patient vitals and record charts in the EMR system
• Clean the treatment rooms, reception area, and bathrooms
• Prepare medical trays and configure infusion pumps

Our Requirements:

• High standard for cleanliness, neatness, and organization
• Adheres to HIPAA, maintains patient confidentiality, and protects Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
• Outstanding bedside manners with patients who may experience sudden changes in personality, mood, and emotion
• Proficient with popular software for email, phone/SMS, EMRs, and scheduling
• Can provide professional references who would agree that you are responsible, reliable, and responsive
• Current (unexpired) and active license issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing (LVNs) or the California Board of Registered Nursing (RNs) / demonstrate that you are legally permitted to start IVs and administer IV medicine
• Commonly described as positive, enthusiastic, friendly, and curious by others
• Able to prove a full COVID-19 vaccination

This is a full-time day shift. The hours are:

• Generally not open on Mondays but there may be some exceptions
• No work on weekends and or US federal holidays
• 8:30AM to 5:30PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Your starting wage will depend on your experience. If you are highly motivated, reliable, and have a genuine interest in helping us grow, you may be able to earn a higher wage with additional duties. These duties include networking (eg, attending events and finding opportunities to spread awareness and educate), social media promotion (eg, create and publish content on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), as well as researching and publishing blog posts on our website.
