Overview A Nuclear Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the quality of nuclear materials, components, and systems meets the required standards. They are responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating nuclear materials, components, and systems to ensure that they meet safety and quality standards. They also provide technical support and guidance to ensure that nuclear materials, components, and systems are produced and maintained in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Detailed Job Description Nuclear Quality Specialists are responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating nuclear materials, components, and systems to ensure that they meet safety and quality standards. They must be knowledgeable of applicable regulations and standards, and must be able to interpret and apply them to the inspection, testing, and evaluation of nuclear materials, components, and systems. They must also be able to identify and document any non-conformances and provide technical support and guidance to ensure that nuclear materials, components, and systems are produced and maintained in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Nuclear Quality Specialists must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they must be able to interact with personnel from various departments and organizations. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations and standards to the inspection, testing, and evaluation of nuclear materials, components, and systems
• Ability to identify and document non-conformances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Certification in a related field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Quality Control, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in a related field
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards
• Knowledge of inspection, testing, and evaluation techniques
• Knowledge of nuclear materials, components, and systems
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in a related field
• Experience in inspection, testing, and evaluation of nuclear materials, components, and systems
• Experience in providing technical support and guidance
Job Responsibilities
• Inspect, test, and evaluate nuclear materials, components, and systems to ensure that they meet safety and quality standards
• Interpret and apply applicable regulations and standards to the inspection, testing, and evaluation of nuclear materials, components, and systems
