Experience with EndNote software or equivalent bibliography management software.

A Bachelor’s degree in a science or health field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience completing human subjects/IRB applications.

Previous experience writing scientific abstracts, peer-reviewed manuscripts, or similar scientific writing.

Previous experience with the development of online databases.

Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or teaching human subject or clinical research designs and conduct.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Exempt From Overtime: Exempt: No

Salary Range: $29.98 - $37.48 per hour (minimum to midpoint)

Uses the University’s learning management system to post syllabus, assignments and other materials and to communicate with students

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology

Minimum of 1 years of teaching experience at the college/university level

Commitment to undergraduate, graduate and/or professional education and student success

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Graduation from approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine. Licensed in Nuclear Medicine

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Certified by the State of TN to practice and administer radiopharmaceuticals

No experience necessary; one year of health care or customer service experience preferred.

18. Attends department meetings and participates in all required education.

10. Ability to interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic background and ethnic systems.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Phlebotomy proficiency within 6 months of hire.

4. Ensures all patients are properly gowned and prepped prior to entering an exam room.

6. Meet all qualifications for Nurse Assistant.

7. Proven ability and experience as a resident care assistant.

8. Experience in long term care preferred.

Certified in the State of Indiana

Able to work with a dedicated team

2. Successful completion of the 60 hour Qualified Medication Assistant course and the 40 hour practicum.

Knowledge of computer applications applicable to nuclear medicine procedures, required.

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (planar and SPECT), utilizing a variety of nuclear medicine gamma cameras.

Inputs patient information into a dedicated nuclear medicine computer.Processes computerized patient information.

Measures radioactive isotope uptake in patients, using non-imaging techniques.

Performs quality control procedures on equipment, using standardized radioactive sources and techniques.

Performs in vitro nuclear medicine laboratory procedures, i.e., blood volumes, Schilling tests.

Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre employment screenings.

Prior to start date, the selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

In the absence of the supervisor or senior technologist, may be designated as acting supervisor.

Assists in performing first aid, as necessary, practices sterile techniques and prevents cross-contamination.

May conduct periodic quality control tests, will participate or conduct research in required specialty.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

1-year patient care experience preferred.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/ Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must successfully pass a course on radiation safety, competency test on DEXA imaging and competency test on equipment safety.
