Minimum 6 years nuclear power plant experience in: Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Work Management or equivalent Naval Nuclear experience

10 Years experience in Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, or Work Management

Experience with development and maintenance of Work Management Cycle Plans

Strong computer skills including knowledge of P6 and SAP applications

Minimum 3 Years Leadership experience

Strong knowledge of a commercial nuclear power plant (PWR or BWR)

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Conducts pre and post-work week meetings and prepares detailed reports and feedback to management on identified obstacles and risk significant impacts.

Serves as the project manager for work week activities and has responsibility for implementing the work week schedule.

Coordinates and manages emergent work into the on-line schedule.

Proven experience leading teams or major projects required.

Knowledge of plant specifications, methods and procedures for the performance of mechanical, electrical, I & C and computer systems maintenance functions.

Project Management certification is required.

Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups including senior management.

Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.

Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies associated with assigned projects.

Familiarity with negotiating and contract management, conflict resolution and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Monitor and report project performance to senior management using relevant performance indicators.

Manage, direct and provide leadership to a team of matrixed/project employees from local line organizations.

Manage a varied level of contract resources as necessary to complete project goals.

Prior working knowledge and understanding of project scope development, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, etc.

General knowledge of Fatigue Rule Management.

Job-Specific Degree, Experience or Certification

Perform multiple tasks and assignments, with minimal guidance, to provide support to departmental Manager and supporting supervisors.

Knowledge of Windows applications [Word, Excel, Power Point,].

1-2 years Strong Administrative experience.

Must meet and maintain Nuclear's requirements for unescorted plant access.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

Assists engineering with testing and evaluations. Performs skilled work involving welding, brazing, pipefitting, pipe covering and insulating.

Preferred: Experience in nuclear power plant maintenance.

Performs maintenance, inspection, repair, testing, and surveillance on plant equipment.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Manage the flow of personnel entering and exiting the maintenance area

Conduct pre-inventory and on-going accounting for all tools, supplies and materials used during the maintenance of power facilities

Perform housekeeping walk-downs, log accuracy audits, and FME zone boundary integrity inspections

Handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure to maintain effective interpersonal relationships

Report to supervisor and document any on-site FME integrity or system cleanliness issues for cases where recovery plans must be enacted

Manage and direct a team of approximately 6 employees.

Actively participate in training to develop and broaden the skills of the Callaway Energy Center workforce.

Provide support to the Shift Manager, Work Control to support significant scheduled plant work activities.

Occasionally, manage project implementation including project schedule and the project resources including external vendors and contractors.

Supervisor and support the Radwaste Supervisor

Train and develop your team members.

Janitorial and yard work experience valuable

Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written)

High school diploma or GED

Successfully pass the EEI MASS exam to be considered

Position requires individual to be respirator qualified

Proven reliability (i.e. attendance, punctuality)

Experience in managing a multi-disciplined project team: engineering, quality control, procurement, manufacturing, cost estimating, delivery/billing, and configuration management.

Knowledge of order management/administration, contracts, US Contract Law, and commercial negotiations best practices.

Proficient in business and project management software (MS Office, MS Project Professional, MS SharePoint).

Proficient in customer relations management (CRM) type software, such as Salesforce®, or equivalent.

Review vendor/inter-company bids for engineered/buyout products against scope, quality, performance, cost, and schedule requirements.

Coordinate, manage project team documentation submittals and disposition process towards securing required customer approvals.

Leadership, management and supervisory skills.

Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., influencing and listening skills to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management).

1 year of supervisory or management experience

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Science and 5 years of work-related experience

Previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license, SRO certification, or Technical Nuclear Certification (TNC)

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
