Job Summary

The Cycle Manager is responsible for managing the cycle plan for on line work management. This position manages the baseline schedule of surveillances and preventive maintenance items based on the 13 week template over the rolling fuel cycle interval. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing/overseeing the plan for addition of corrective maintenance, modifications, and other approved work items to the baseline schedule of surveillances and preventive maintenance work. The Cycle Manager also manages restraints to the planned work, with close coordination and alignment with the budget, and management for major equipment maintenance windows over upcoming fuel cycles.


Job Responsibilities

  • Chairs and attends a variety of meetings to facilitate the Right Work Selection Process (primarily E-24 and E-16), as well as support work preparation in the Work Management Process. Interfaces with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Chemistry and Radiation Protection representatives/leaders to support execution of the Online Work Management Process.
  • Participates in High Intensity Teams, System Performance Teams, ER initiatives, PHC/PMOC, ERT, EP, as well as other assigned duties to support the station.
  • Performs leadership/oversight of both MAST and represented (collective bargaining unit) employees, including the station Predefine Coordinator, Cycle WW Specialist, and long range schedulers (union).
  • Responsible for managing the cycle plan for on line work management. Manages the baseline schedule of surveillances and preventive maintenance items based on the 13 week template over the rolling fuel cycle interval. Develops/oversees the plan for addition of corrective maintenance, modifications, and other approved work items to the baseline schedule.

Job Specific Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree with 6 years experience, with minimum 3 years leadership experience. In lieu of a degree must minimum of 10 years maintenance or work management experience



Other qualifications/skills:

  • Minimum 3 Years Leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of a commercial nuclear power plant (PWR or BWR)
  • Must meet and maintain Nuclear’ s requirements for Unescorted Site Access
  • Minimum 6 years nuclear power plant experience in: Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Work Management or equivalent Naval Nuclear experience

Desired:

  • Experience with development and maintenance of Work Management Cycle Plans
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of P6 and SAP applications
  • 10 Years experience in Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, or Work Management
  • SRO License or Certification
