Records Management certification or relevant experience

Knowledge of TRACKS database; experience maintaining databases of similar complexity

Perform basic chemistry tests when Water Quality Manager is absent

Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Windows, Excel, PPT

Knowledge of AZA accreditation and other AZA industry, state/federal compliance

A person that possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Perform other related duties or projects as assigned by the Merchandise management team e.g. stock replenishment.

Approach guests in a friendly manner to offer assistance and provide information regarding Newport Aquarium.

Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Maintain knowledge of activities, aquatic life, and Newport Aquarium special events/promotions in order to properly notify and inform guests.

Prior cash handling and point of sale experience is a plus.

Previous guest service or retail experience preferred.

Ensuring an exceptional guest experience, motivating team to exceed expectations

Manages all cash handling activities, following and upholding company policies and procedures

A dedicated focus to an outstanding customer experience

Guest service experience in a restaurant or retail environment – 3 years

Supervisory or leadership experience – 1 year

Experience analyzing financial reports – 1 year

An equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying.

Update the Outage Management application and operation tagging boards.

Effectively complete multiple tasks and responsibilities in an environment fraught with interruptions.

Prioritize work and manage time effectively.

Have cellphone coverage / Wi-Fi at home, or the ability to get.
