Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Ensure Health and Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment.

Train and help new/current Professional Concrete Delivery Drivers develop competence and confidence in the following areas:

Awareness and Adherence to Company Policies & Procedures

Exercises passenger and/or student management per Company policy.

Must have experience transporting senior and/or disabled citizens in accordance with pre-arranged appointments/schedules

Must ensure that individuals with disabilities have adequate time to complete boarding or disembarking from the vehicle

Previous experience as a Paratransit Driver recommended

Must possess, or be able to obtain, all valid applicable state license and other required certifications to operate company vehicles.

Extensive knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.

Under supervision, transports materials, tools, equipment, and personnel to and from projects.

Drives sweepers, snowplows/spreaders to clear roadways and spread sand/salt or other products.

Drives garbage/refuse collection trucks on assigned routes and to disposal sites.

Inspects vehicles or mechanical equipment for proper operation and checks oil/fluids.

Reports mechanical repairs to ensure repairs are made in a timely manner.

Completes paperwork including worksheets, repair orders, activity logs and other forms to document assignments.

Develop and analyze requirements, design, implement, integrate and test using Matlab/Simulink and/or C

Excellent problem-solving skills, exercises independent judgement and works well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Experience with motor development in a related industry.

Experience in building the Motor system models

Experience in Systems Engineering and MBSE

Initially, gain an understanding of the AC & DC motors that we deal with daily. This will be done via:

Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel

Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed

Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus

Pay: $25.50 - $28.50 per hour * depending on experience and route premiums

Structured pay dependent on experience

$6,000 new hire bonus for candidates with a current CDL (Class A or B) with Passenger Endorsement

Electromechanical design experience and analysis of motors with a focus on brushless DC motors

Familiarity with the following software packages: Ansys, Motorsolve, Motorcad, Ansoft & Sinda experience in electromechanical design

Maintain currency with materials technology, industry design requirements (NASA, Military) and modern design analysis tools

Create reliable electric motor designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program

·Three to five years work experience related to safety is preferred

·Experience with electronic logs preferred

·Responsible for assisting with conducting pre-employment road tests.

·Assists when necessary with training and compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA, reporting, and record keeping.

·Complies with company scheduled hours.

·Works in excess of normal working hours as workloads and seasonal activities are encountered.

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

5 years of proven experience in driving commercial vehicles

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong professional conversation etiquette.

Ability to travel long distances and be away from home base for up to 10 days at a time.

Previous experience driving Motor Coach vehicles

Position offers a starting salary range of $27 - $37 / hour
