Here are a few must haves.

·Must be currently or has worked in the Broker/Wholesale world within the last two years.

·Must be able to work in a structured environment with specific turn times.

Basic knowledge of consumer or real estate transactions. Previous mortgage support or servicing experience preferred.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability and proactiveness to research account detail and history.

Communication: Strong verbal, listening and writing skills. Builds collaborative relationships and has a strong member orientation.

Completion of high school diploma (or equivalent), plus one to three months’ related experience and/or training.

Ability to quickly learn and maintain current working knowledge of all pertinent software applications.

Moderate keyboard skills at 40 wpm and 10-key by touch.

Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processing and basic underwriting skills.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mortgage Processor or in a similar role in the mortgage industry is a must.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

The salary for this position: depends on experience starting $800/month and after 3 months probation will increase with proven performance.

Identifies mortgage loan application problems by highlighting loan deficiencies; notifying MLO Managers and Mortgage Processing Manager.

Manage/review working pipeline daily to meet rate locks and established turn times.

Report document or file deficiencies and resolve exceptions with Mortgage Operations Manager.

Maintain current knowledge of federal regulations, RESPA guidelines, and credit union policies pertaining to mortgage loans.

Cross sell credit union services to members, explaining the different services and the benefits of each.

Must have a two-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience

Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required, experience with Encompass Loan Software preferred.

Manage monthly closings in a consistent and timely manner.

Remain aware and knowledgeable of industry changes to products and guidelines.

Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.

Responsiveness in a fast paced, fluid environment and be held to minimum production standards while maintaining excellent organizational skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to read and understand basic policies and procedures.
