The Mobile Care Unit Medical Assistant is responsible for providing medical assistance to patients in a mobile care unit. This position requires the ability to travel to various locations to provide medical care to patients in need. The Mobile Care Unit Medical Assistant must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with patient intake and assessment
• Taking vital signs and medical histories
• Administering medications and treatments
• Assisting with medical procedures
• Documenting patient care
• Providing patient education
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Assisting with laboratory tests
• Assisting with scheduling appointments
• Maintaining patient records
• Assisting with billing and coding
• Assisting with patient discharge
