Must have a valid driver’s license.

Management of Planning Engineering Team / Mining Engineering

Preferred Education: Professional Engineer Certification. Master’s degree in a related field.

Possesses superior intellect and creativity to grasp new concepts quickly and has an intimate knowledge of mining techniques.

At least one (1) year experience that evidences a working knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning processes.

Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp.

Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software. Experience with MineSight and AutoCAD preferred.

Meet or exceed established performance expectations set by management.

Work safely in all areas, identify potential safety hazards, and work with management to correct them.

Minimum of two years of experience in mine engineering or related discipline preferred.

Knowledge of engineering techniques as they apply to pit design, mine planning and equipment analysis required.

Must have solid verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns

Minimum one-year experience of dozer operation in a surface mining environment

Knowledge of safe & productive operation of heavy mining equipment

Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is an asset, however we can assist with obtaining training if needed
