Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills

Provide excellent customer service to patients, their families and all UIHC clinics

Complete the EPIC Radiant check-in process

Effectively communicate with patients, staff and clinics

Facilitate patient flow through the Radiology clinics and communicate information to the technologists

Assist and direct patients with health forms

Skills: Previous laboratory experience. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice.

PC Skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Education: Advanced degree in Life or Physical Science; Bio-engineering; Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred.

Duties: Supporting various verification projects and/or testing diagnostic machines.

Supporting laboratory maintenance and compliance.

Prior experience as a senior level receptionist or receptionist serving senior management/executive floor is required

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Proficiency in computer skills required (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Handle all incoming calls, using a main or floor switchboard, routes calls to appropriate party

Greet outside visitors in a professional manner

May sign for incoming and outgoing packages; route to appropriate party

Provides education for health self-management;

Participates in schedule management procedures to ensure productivity goals are achieved.

Coordinates clinical support staff coverage with management staff;

Working knowledge of: age-appropriate care, domestic violence mandatory reporting, cultural competence, clinic duties and standard physical screening.

General medical knowledge of: medical office and safety procedures.
